Overview

Condon-Johnson & Associates had hit the limits of an internally-developed database for tracking bids. We rebuilt the structure, drastically improved performance, and added project-management tooling specific to their geotechnical construction specialty.

The project originally started with tracking bids, replacing a slow internally-built database with fast, web-based software that mapped bids on Google Maps and made finding bids by category, sales rep, or any other factor quick and easy. After the bidding functionality was taken up by the sales team, the engineering side asked if we could add project management — which we did.

There is no off-the-shelf option for a company as specific and precise as Condon-Johnson. We built their project management dashboard to do automatic quality checks with email alerts, track the progression of their work, and generate visualizations of the project progress (see screenshot above).
